The County of San Diego Watershed Protection Program (WPP) has an opening for a supervisor in its Education Group. This position is currently responsible for the day to day supervision of three program staff involved in the development, oversight, and implementation of a variety of watershed and water quality educational activities. These include, but are not limited to, the following areas:
§ Regional education programs
§ Watershed-based education programs
§ General residential education to the unincorporated portions of the County (~480,000 residents)
§ Education to school aged children in the unincorporated County (~115,000)

JOB SUMMARY:
The County of San Diego is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Group Program Manager, Parks and Recreation. The successful candidate will manage the Multiple Species Conservation Program (MSCP) for the Resource Management Division within the Department of Parks and Recreation.
The MSCP is a county wide program that maintains and enhances biological diversity and maintains viable populations of endangered, threatened, and key sensitive species and their habitats. This position will be responsible for the management and monitoring of activities associated with the MSCP. The position works with other County departments to ensure the County’s compliance with state development laws and environmental laws.
The ideal candidate will possess: Extensive knowledge of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), and other laws governing impacts to the natural environment at a local, state, and federal level.
REQUIREMENTS
1. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or certified equivalency for foreign studies, business, public administration, or a closely related field; AND
2. Five (5) years of program/project related management-level experience. Experience in a public regulatory agency is desirable.

UCSD requests written responses to a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for selection of Environmental Consultant(s) to provide environmental consulting services for one or more proposed projects on the UCSD campus, including but not limited to: construction and/or expansion of academic and research buildings, medical research and clinical facilities, housing facilities, hospital facilities, parking/transportation facilities, and/or utility projects.
